When it comes to buying a new house it is often one of the last things considered.  Before you move in you are worried about having the movers there on time, what sort of appliances you will have, what furniture you need to fit the new space and a laundry list of about 50 other things.  Just about last on the list in what we will use to cover out windows.  And once we do get there it seems that we have spent the majority of our budget and have little to fill this space.  And when it comes to curtains and the like, a lot can be spent on covering up your windows!  No need to fret however, there are great options in terms of wooden blinds to get you through in style.

And to be sure you can get top of the line wooden blinds as well made of the top wood materials from cherry, maple and oak to other more mundane options like pine or simply painted plywood.  It really comes down to the look and feel you are looking to achieve as well as how it fits into your budget.

If you are really on a tight budget, look at getting some faux wooden blinds to add to your home and get a good look on a little bit of money.  Faux wood is made mixing wooden shavings with polymer to create a combination wood and plastic type material that looks very nice out of the package.  If it gets a ton of light it may not weather well, but if it doesn’t this can be a great option to get you buy on the cheap.

When it comes to choosing the right wooden blind it really starts with how much you want to spend and the look you are going for.  Painted white blinds and cherry stained blinds will lead you in two completely different directions.  Figure that out and you are well on your way!
